As a mother myself, the most meaningful thing I can photograph is the connection between loved ones. It’s the fleeting moments that so often pass unnoticed. Having those moments captured and displayed on our walls as daily reminders of our family’s love and connection is priceless.
The last time I photographed Chante was nine years ago during a swimwear campaign in South West Rocks, for Indii Swimwear (see those images below). She was one of the beautiful models and was pregnant at the time. It was such a joy to welcome Chante into my portrait studio, this time with her daughter, who had once been the little baby growing inside her.
Havana is an absolute delight. She’s vibrant, energetic, expressive, and full of joy, with a beautiful curiosity about the world around her. Their bond was effortless, filled with warmth, laughter, and the kind of love that makes motherhood photography so incredibly special.
